Prerequisites

Before obtaining OAuth credentials, you need to create a custom OAuth application in Cvent if you do not already have one.

To create an OAuth application in Cvent:

1. Navigate to the Cvent Developer Portal’s Applications page and click Create application.

2. Select the Machine to Machine application type.

3. Under Application name, specify a name for the application.

4. Click Select scopes and select all of the scopes you want to add to your application. You are limited to the scopes allowed by the Workspace.

5. Click Save to create the application.

6. Click View Applications to return to the Applications page.

Note the values of the Client ID and Client secret. You will use these below to authenticate to Cvent.

セットアップガイド

以下の手順で、Cvent をConnect AI アカウントに接続します。

1. Connect AI のダッシュボードからConnections ページを開きます。

2. 右上の + Add Connection をクリックします。

3. 検索フィールドに Cvent と入力し、データソース名をクリックします。

4. 新しいコネクションのBasic Settings タブで、コネクション名を入力するかデフォルトの名前をそのまま使用します。

5. Enter the OAuthClientId from the prerequisites.

6. Enter the OAuthClientSecret from the prerequisites.

7. (Optional) Enter the Scope of the authenticating user’s access to the application. This can be done when you create the OAuth application.

8. Connect AI Connection ページ上部の、Save & Test をクリックします。

   • 接続テストに成功すると、コネクションが作成されたことを示すConnection successfully saved というメッセージが表示されます。Edit Connection ページのStatus もAuthenticated に変わります。Edit Connection ページの右ペインにあるData Model タブで、成功したコネクションのデータモデルを表示します。
   • 接続テストに失敗した場合は、入力したログイン情報に余分なスペースや文字がないかを確認してください。Connect AI は、データが不足している必須フィールドの下にエラーメッセージを表示します。一部のデータソースでは、ソースのWeb サイトに直接サインインする必要があります。サインインしていない場合は、Sign in ボタンの下にエラーメッセージが表示されます。エラーを修正し、もう一度試してください。
   • 失敗したコネクションは下書きとして保存され、Status はNot Authenticated になります。後でコネクションに戻って認証することができます。
