Setup Guide

Follow these steps to connect Dropbox to your Connect AI account:

1. Open the Connections page of the Connect AI dashboard.

2. Click + Add Connection in the upper-right corner.

3. Type Dropbox into the search field, then click the data source name.

4. On the Basic Settings tab of the new connection, enter a connection name or keep the default name.

5. Select the Impersonate User Mode the provider uses when making API calls on behalf of a user or administrator: User, Admin, or None.

6. Enter the Impersonate User Id which specifies the Dropbox User Id to impersonate when acting on behalf of a team member or administrator. This field is required if you select User or Admin for Impersonate User Mode.

The directions above assume you are using CData’s embedded OAuth app. If you want to create a custom OAuth app, see Creating a Custom OAuth App. After you have created a custom OAuth app, go to the Advanced Settings tab and enter the OAuth Client Id and OAuth Client Secret you obtained from the custom OAuth app.
